Bank Julius Baer names Greater China private banking head

Bank JuliusBaer & Co. Ltd. said April 7 that David Shick was appointed ashead of private banking for Greater China, effective immediately.

Shick joins the company from 's privatebanking unit, where he was market leader for China and Taiwan. In his new HongKong-based role, Shick will be responsible for expanding the bank's businesspresence and client base across Greater China.

Shick will succeed Kaven Leung, currently CEO of North Asiaand deputy head of Asia-Pacific, who has decide to retire.
