Sheffield secures another premium zircon off-take for Thunderbird

Sheffield Resources Ltd. signed a fifth binding off-take agreement for premium zircon produced at its Thunderbird mineral sands project in Western Australia.

The company will supply Qingyuan Jinsheng ZR & TI Resources Co. Ltd. with 9,000 tonnes of premium zircon per year for an initial five years, according to the Feb. 1 release.

The agreement covers about 18% of the estimated total volume of premium zircon to be produced from Thunderbird's first stage.

The company now has off-take agreements covering 93% of the first-stage zircon product and 100% of concentrate product.
