Tapestry names 2 board members

New York-based luxury fashion company Tapestry Inc., formerly Coach Inc., said Dec. 7 that Doreen Toben and Anne Gates have been appointed to its board of directors.

Toben was previously executive vice president and CFO of Verizon Communications Inc. and served as a member of the board of Kate Spade & Co. until Tapestry acquired the company in May. Gates was president of toy manufacturer MGA Entertainment Inc. until her retirement in 2017.

The appointments bring the company's board membership to 10.
