Trevali drills new mineralization at Santander zinc mine

Trevali MiningCorp. said April 7 that drilling at its Santander zinc mine in Peru resulted in the discoveryof a new zone of mineralization.

In December 2015,the company drill-intersected a new thick zone of vein and replacement mineralizationat the hanging wall of the main Magistral North deposit.

Follow-up expansion and definition drilling carried out in themost recent campaign has begun to define a new mineralized zone termed the OyonMantos. The zone contained multiple stacked lenses of replacement mineralizationand veining that vary from 1 meter to 10 meters thickness, with a modeled strikelength of around 90 meters and a defined dip length of around 150 meters.

Results from drilling include 7.3 meters of 8.73% zinc, 6.22%lead, and 3.4 ounces per tonne of silver, including 4.15 meters of 12.46% zinc,9.35% lead, and 4.1 ounces per tonnes of silver.

Mineralization at both Magistral North and Oyon Mantos remainsopen for expansion and drilling is in progress, the company said.
