TerraForm Power Inc disclosed in an Aug. 9 SEC filing that its financial reports for the second quarter of 2017 will be delayed.

TerraForm Power has not yet filed it's quarterly report for the first quarter of 2017, attributing previous filing delays to the bankruptcy of its controlling stockholder, SunEdison Inc., in 2016.

The company said that as disclosed in its 2016 Form 10-K and as of Dec. 31, 2016, it did not "maintain effective disclosure controls and procedures or effective internal control over financial reporting primarily attributable to the material weaknesses described therein."
