KleanNara Q2 profit falls YOY

KleanNara Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income was 12.36 South Korean won per share, a decrease of 77.1% from 53.98 won per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 441.8 million won, a decrease of 66.1% from 1.30 billion won in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.3% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to 170.26 billion won from 166.12 billion won, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to 168.30 billion won from 163.85 billion won.

Reported net income fell 47.9% year over year to 822.2 million won, or 23.00 won per share, from 1.58 billion won, or 65.44 won per share.

As of Aug. 17, US$1 was equivalent to 1,183.06 South Korean won.
