Indonesia's Telkomsel to offer HOOQ

Indonesia'stelecom operator Telkomsel started offering HOOQ's subscription video on-demandservice to its subscribers, Telecompaper reported May 2.

Under a deal between the two companies, Telkomsel offersusers access to 35,000 hours of Hollywood and local content from theover-the-top service for 49,500 Indonesian rupiah a month. Usersdo not need a credit card to subscribe.

HOOQ is a partnership between , 's Sony Pictures Televisionand Time WarnerInc.'s Warner Bros.

As of May 2, US$1 is equivalentto 13,157.50 Indonesian rupiah.
