Wells Fargo acquires EMEA segment of GE Capital's commercial distribution finance business

Wells Fargo& Co. completed its acquisition of the Europe, Middle East andAfrica segment of General ElectricCapital Corp.’s commercial distribution finance business.

The transaction includes commercial distribution financeassets, 163 team members and nine offices in markets across Europe, includingBelgium, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the U.K.

Wells Fargo closed its acquisition of the Australian and New Zealandsegments by the end of July. In addition, the company had closed the purchaseof Asian segments inearly July, while the NorthAmerican portion of its deal closed in March.
