Oct. 3

Raymond James Financial Inc. named Kevin Giddis chief fixed-income strategist and Scott Day senior investment strategist.

They will be part of the private client group investment strategy team.

Oct. 2

Moelis & Co. named Ted Conway as a managing director, focusing on specialty finance companies, permanent capital vehicles and other special situations.

He will join in November.

Goldman Sachs hired Mahir Zaimoglu as a managing director in its financial sponsors M&A group, a company spokesperson confirmed.

Arun Dhar, a partner in Goldman Sachs' equities division in London, has left, a source familiar with the matter said.

Dhar was responsible for equity derivatives sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
