TalkTalkTelecom Group PLC has introduced a pay-as-you-go streaming servicenamed the TalkTalk TV Store on April 26.
The service is available to both TalkTalk customer and non-customers,who will be able to watch more than 7,000 of the latest films and TV shows. Upto five devices can be registered, with content simultaneously accessible on aTV unit and a mobile device.
Viewers may choose to rent a movie from £3.45 per month orbuy it for £8.99. For TV programs, an episode can be bought for £1.89, whilethe cost of an entire series starts from £5.99.
The TalkTalk TV Store is an updated version of the blinkboxstreaming platform, which TalkTalk acquired in January 2015 from supermarket giant Tesco.
Former blinkbox customers will retain their access to theupdated service.
