Asta Funding Inc.'s board approved the repurchase of up to $10.5 million of the company's common shares.

Repurchases will be made from time to time at the company's discretion, based on ongoing assessments of the capital needs of the business, general market conditions and the market price of its common shares.

The program may be suspended or discontinued at any time.
