Envision Healthcare's ambulance unit divestiture credit positive, says Moody's

Moody's said Envision Healthcare Corp.'s $2.4 billion deal to sell its medical transport business unit to private equity firm KKR & Co. LP is credit positive.

The rating agency believes the divestiture eliminates uncertainty and gives Envision Healthcare additional liquidity for future deleveraging.

Moody's also said the transaction has no impact on the company's existing ratings or outlook.
