Report: WeWork's global head of real estate partnerships to depart

Sarah Pontius is set to leave WeWork Cos. Inc. as global head of real estate partnerships after reaching a mutual agreement with the coworking giant, The Real Deal reported, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Pontius would remain under contract until the end of 2019, one of the sources told the news outlet.

Pontius is the latest executive reported to be exiting WeWork, following Chief Communications Officer Jennifer Skyler, Vice President of Communications Dominic McMullan, Chief Brand Officer Julie Rice, and Global Head of Business and Financial Operations Ted Stedem, according to the report.

The departures come amid reports that WeWork parent The We Co. expects to complete its planned IPO by the end of 2019 following a delay in the original plan.

WeWork declined to comment on the matter, while Pontius did not respond to requests for comment, the news outlet added.
