Genesis Minerals Ltd. on Jan. 25 said it confirmed an extensive gold zone at its Ulysses gold project in Western Australia following an 81-hole aircore drilling program totaling 5,377 meters at the site.
Significant new results at the Ulysses East prospect include 10 meters grading 1.22 g/t of gold including 5 meters grading 2.32 g/t of gold, and 15 meters grading 1.49 g/t of gold including 5 meters grading 3.41 g/t of gold.
Ulysses East measures 1.3 kilometers in length, bringing the combined high-priority target zone, including the existing Ulysses mineral resource, to over 3 kilometers of strike.
The company also said positive performance from the recent open-pit mining campaign at Ulysses West continues, with grade reconciliation of milled ore exceeding the mine claimed grade.
Follow-up reverse circulation drilling at Ulysses East, together with aircore drilling of untested strike parallel trends, will commence in February.
