Liberty One to shift exploration focus from Argentina to Utah in 2018

Liberty One Lithium Corp. has decided to stop exploration at its Pocitos West property in Argentina and assess its North Paradox property in Utah in the first quarter of 2018.

The company said Dec. 22 that exploration results did not justify proceeding with developing Pocitos West.

"We now feel our investment will be better utilized in other jurisdictions, where risk factors best suit our stage of business development," CEO Brad Nichol said.

North Paradox consists of 233 placer claims covering 4,480 acres in the Paradox Basin in Grand County, Utah.

Additionally, John Davidson stepped down from the company's board.
