Consumer confidence in the euro area fell by 1.3 points to a reading of 0.1 in February, according to the European Commission's latest flash estimates.
In the wider EU, consumer sentiment also decreased by 0.7 of a point to a -0.3 reading this month, the European Commission said.
In January, consumer confidence in the eurozone increased by 0.8 of a point from the previous month, amid strong improvement in households' unemployment expectations and unchanged assessments of the general economic situation and savings expectations.
