The ECB raised OP Financial Group's capital buffer requirement to 2.25% from 2%, effective Jan. 1, 2020, as part of the regulator's supervisory review and evaluation process.
As a result, the Finland-based financial services group will be required to maintain minimum common equity Tier 1 and capital adequacy ratios of 11.3% and 14.8%, respectively.
The group's CET1 and capital adequacy ratios stood at 19.6% and 21.2%, respectively, at the end of September.
