Santander Río to issue subordinated negotiable obligations under global program

Banco Santander Río SA said it will issue a series of subordinated negotiable obligations under its global program worth up to $100.0 million.

The subordinated negotiable obligations will qualify as additional level 1 capital under central bank regulations, the bank said in a filing.
