Essel Group-owned Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. has appointed Taranjeet Singh as the chief revenue officer for its video-on-demand service ZEE5, The Economic Times (India) reported Oct. 15.

In his new role, Singh will oversee revenues for ZEE5 and head new projects. He will report to ZEE5 India CEO Tarun Katial.

Singh most recently served as Twitter Inc. India's country manager for close to four years.
