Fitch withdraws Düsseldorfer Hypothekenbank's ratings

Fitch Ratings on April 12 affirmed 's BBB-long-term issuer default ratings with a stable outlook, F3 short-term issuerdefault rating, "f" viability rating and 2 support rating.

The rating agency subsequently withdrew the bank's ratingsfor commercial reasons and will no longer provide ratings or analyticalcoverage for the bank.

The affirmation of Düsseldorfer Hypothekenbank's long-termratings and stable outlook reflects the agency's expectation that the bank willcontinue to receive extensive support from its owner, the deposit protection fund of the Germanassociation Bundesverband deutscher Banken, if needed, until the bank'srestructuring is completed.

The viability rating reflects Fitch's view that the bankwill remain reliant on ongoing support from its parent in the medium term.
