National General expects Q3 impact from hurricanes of up to $65M

National General Holdings Corp. expects its third-quarter results to include pretax catastrophe losses of $25 million to $30 million from Hurricane Irma and $5 million from Hurricane Maria, both net of quota share reinsurance recoverables.

Total net hurricane losses for the quarter, including pretax losses from Hurricane Harvey of $25 million to $30 million, will impact the third quarter by $55 million to $65 million.
