Ukraine's Higher Economic Court ruled in favor of ArcelorMittal's local unit over the alleged violation of environmental laws, dismissing the prosecutor's office of Dnipropetrovsk region's appeal that sought about 72.7 million Ukrainian hryvnia, Interfax reported Dec. 20.
The ruling overturned an earlier decision of the Dnipropetrovsk Economic Court of Appeals, which previously upheld the appeal of the prosecutor's office against PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the report added.
As of Dec. 23, US$1 was equivalent to 26.3 Ukrainian hryvnia.
