Kroll assigns ratings to Toronto-Dominion Bank

Kroll Bond Rating Agency assigned Toronto-Dominion Bank a deposit rating of AA and short-term deposit rating of K1+.

The rating agency also assigned Toronto-Dominion Bank unit TD Bank NA deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings of AA- and short-term deposit and debt ratings of K1+.

The outlook for all long-term ratings is stable.

The ratings are supported by Toronto-Dominion's "diversified business model, with a leading banking and wealth/asset management franchise in Canada and solid market position in the U.S., combined with strong through-the-cycle financial performance and importance to the Canadian financial system," according to Kroll.
