Taylor Morrison, William Lyon Homes schedule stockholder vote on merger

Taylor Morrison Home Corp. and fellow homebuilder William Lyon Homes will convene separate special stockholder meetings on Jan. 30, 2020, to vote on their proposed merger.

Taylor Morrison agreed in November to acquire William Lyon Homes in a stock-and-cash deal, valuing the latter at $2.4 billion, including assumption of debt.

The companies expect the merger to close late in the first quarter or early in the second quarter of 2020, subject to certain closing conditions.
