Jeremy Machain will start as senior vice president for Bank of America Merrill Lynch's business banking team on April 1, the Wichita (Kan.) Business Journal reported.
Machain had been Wichita market president and senior vice president at Kansas-based Equity Bank.

Capital Bank NA appointed Mark Caplan to its board. He is president and CEO of real estate equity investment firm The Time Group.
Caplan joins Fred Lewis, who became a director of the Rockville, Md.-based bank toward the end of 2018. Lewis is founder of The Dominion Group, a buyer of distressed properties in Maryland.
