Investors keep shorting SemGroup, let up on NuStar shorts

SemGroup Corp. saw the largest jump in short interest relative to shares outstanding among SNL-covered midstream and related companies between Nov. 30 and Dec. 15.

The company saw short interest increase 160 basis points to 14.23% of shares outstanding at the end of the period. The company also topped the list of most-shorted midstream and related companies.

NuStar Energy LP posted the greatest decline in short interest relative to shares outstanding among SNL-covered midstream and related companies. The company saw short interest drop 72 basis points to 2.86% of shares outstanding at the end of the period.
