Bertram Capital sells Maxcess' parent company

Bertram Capital sold Maxcess parent WH Acquisitions Inc. to fellow private equity firm Berwind Corp. for an undisclosed sum.

Maxcess manufactures systems and equipment for web-handling applications. The transaction marks Bertram's 11th exit since it was launched in 2006, according to a July 3 release.

Robert W. Baird managed the transaction process, while Hirschler Fleischer was the legal counsel for Bertram.
