S.A. Dave resigned as an independent director of Housing Development Finance Corp. Ltd., effective Aug. 10.

Dave resigned due to personal reasons, the company said in a same-day release.

Dave also resigned as a director on the board of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co. Ltd., a unit of HDFC.
