Irish housing fund looks to raise €400M to invest in rental sector

Urbeo Residential is looking to raise up to €400.0 million to invest in the Irish private rental sector, The Irish Times reported.

According to the report, the mixed-tenure Irish housing fund will mainly focus on low- and middle-income housing in Dublin, however it will also look at other Irish cities for investment prospects.

The fund will collaborate with Glenveagh Living on the sourcing, purchase and development of residential communities, with Urbeo possibly acquiring Glenveagh constructed developments.

Deutsche Bank and Goodbody Stockbrokers will advise Urbeo on the fundraising, the publication noted.
