Legal & General Group Plc appointed Jeff Davies CFO.

Davies, who is currently a senior partner of Ernst & Young and head of its European risk and actuarial insurance services practice, will move to his new role in spring 2017. His appointment has received the required regulatory approvals.

Davies will replace Mark Gregory, who will step down from the company's board but will remain an employee until Aug. 31, 2017, to assist in the transition.
