Sunrun president, COO to retire

Sunrun Inc. announced Dec. 6. that President and COO Paul Winnowski will retire in early 2018. The company named Christopher Dawson as new COO, effective immediately.

Winnowski joined Sunrun as COO in February 2014 and was appointed president in March 2017. He will remain with the company through early 2018 as president to assist with the transition of his duties.

Dawson previously held various executive roles at powersports vehicle manufacturer Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. He left the company in 2015 to join California-based startup Icon Aircraft as COO and and then became a co-founder and partner of a management consulting firm.
