ANZ establishes US$60B note program

Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. established a US$60 billion euro medium-term note program.

Under the program, ANZ and units ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd. and ANZ New Zealand (Int'l) Ltd. may issue the notes. The principal amount of notes issued by ANZ outstanding at any time will not exceed US$50 billion and the principal amount of notes collectively issued by ANZ New Zealand and ANZ New Zealand (Int'l) will not exceed US$10 billion.

Deutsche Bank is the arranger of the transaction, while ANZ, Barclays, BNP PARIBAS, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Daiwa Capital Markets Europe, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets and UBS Investment Bank are the dealers.
