KleanNara Q3 loss widens YOY

KleanNara Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to a loss of 105.36 South Korean won per share, compared with a loss of 25.06 won per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 3.23 billion won, compared with a loss of 1.31 billion won in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to negative 1.9% from negative 0.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 7.2% year over year to 172.36 billion won from 160.81 billion won, and total operating expenses rose 7.4% from the prior-year period to 172.12 billion won from 160.32 billion won.

Reported net income came to a loss of 3.98 billion won, or a loss of 133.50 won per share, compared to a loss of 2.10 billion won, or a loss of 86.00 won per share, in the prior-year period.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
