Anfield Resources Inc. plans to change its name to Anfield Energy Inc., to better emphasize its focus on energy metals, and consolidate its outstanding 209,443,580 common shares on a 10-for-1 basis.
The company said Dec. 22 that the name change and share consolidation will be effective Dec. 27 and upon completion, its shares will start trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new AEC ticker.
Anfield also reported that Stephen Butrenchuk is retiring from its board, effective Dec. 31.
The company's main assets are the Irigaray plant and the associated Willow Creek uranium mine in Wyoming and the Shootaring Canyon mill, which is associated with its Velvet and Frank M uranium properties in Utah.
