Genworth Financial board adds 2 members

Genworth Financial Inc.'s board elected Debra Perry and Robert Restrepo Jr. as members.

The elections increased the size of the board to 10 directors. Perry and Restrepo are independent directors.

Genworth said its board is adding directors given departures, possible upcoming retirements and continuing board obligations.

Perry previously worked at Moody's Corp. until 2004, last serving as a senior managing director in the global ratings and research unit of Moody's Investors Service, where she oversaw the Americas corporate finance and U.S. public finance groups. Restrepo retired from State Auto Financial Corp. in 2015, having served as chairman, president and CEO.
