Canara Bank raises 30B rupees via bond issuance

CanaraBank raised 30 billion Indian rupees via its issuance of BaselIII-compliant bonds.

The Tier 2 bonds were priced with a coupon of 8.40% per year.The offering opened April 18 and closed April 27.

As of April 28, US$1was equivalent to 66.48 Indian rupees.
