PSEG Energy Solutions approved to operate as retail supplier in Maryland

PSEG Energy Solutions LLC has received a license to operate as a retail electricity supplier in the state of Maryland.

The approval is part of the Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. subsidiary's plan to expand throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, according to a Feb. 2 news release.

PSEG Energy supplies power to medium and large commercial and industrial customers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey offering options including a locked-in, fixed price or a price that is indexed and floats with energy markets, or a combination of the two, the company said.
