Investor asks Cincinnati Bell shareholders to support director nominees

GAMCO Asset Management Inc., an affiliate of GAMCO Investors Inc., asked Cincinnati Bell Inc. shareholders to vote in favor of director nominees James Chadwick, Matthew Goldfarb, and Justyn Putnam at the 2018 annual meeting of shareholders.

The investor group is also seeking the support of the shareholders to approve an amendment of the company's amended and restated regulations to provide for proxy access for shareholders, according to a preliminary proxy statement filed March 9. The nominees are to be elected to the board to serve until the 2019 annual meeting of shareholders.

According to the SEC filing, terms of nine directors currently serving on the board will expire at the 2018 annual shareholders meeting, whose date has yet to be disclosed.
