* Michelle Coons will lead Seattle-based Washington Federal Inc.'s New Mexico territory as senior vice president and regional president, effective Jan. 1, 2018. She'll take over from current New Mexico Regional President Bill Synnamon, who is retiring on Dec. 31.
Coons and Synnamon will start working together on the transition of duties on Dec. 1.
* ANB Bank, a unit of Denver-based Sturm Financial Group Inc., named Josh Stransky community bank president of its Downtown Denver branch, according to a press release posted on CBInsight.com.
Stransky previously served as a senior vice president at a Colorado financial institution.
* Bar Harbor Bank & Trust of Maine said that Michelle Curtis transitioned to the new role of senior vice president and treasury services sales officer from senior vice president and regional market manager/retail banking.
Curtis joined the Bar Harbor Bankshares unit in 2011, and became senior vice president and regional market manager in 2016.
