Johnson Health Tech Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter amounted to NT$1.53 per share, an increase of 14.7% from NT$1.33 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$464.7 million, a gain of 14.4% from NT$406.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 7.3% from 7.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 8.7% on an annual basis to NT$6.34 billion from NT$5.84 billion, and total operating expenses rose 7.0% from the prior-year period to NT$5.70 billion from NT$5.33 billion.
Reported net income increased year over year to NT$567.7 million, or NT$1.87 per share, from NT$561.3 million, or NT$1.84 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled NT$1.98 per share, an increase of 10.3% from NT$1.79 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was NT$600.8 million, a gain of 10.1% from NT$545.8 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased 18.8% year over year to NT$20.16 billion from NT$16.97 billion, and total operating expenses rose 19.8% on an annual basis to NT$19.55 billion from NT$16.31 billion.
The company said reported net income grew 27.3% on an annual basis to NT$716.4 million, or NT$2.36 per share, in the full year, from NT$562.7 million, or NT$1.85 per share.
