Caely Holdings Bhd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to 1.8 million ringgits, an increase from 470 ringgits in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin rose to 6.7% from 0.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 19.7% year over year to 26.6 million ringgits from 22.2 million ringgits, and total operating expenses grew 6.1% from the prior-year period to 23.3 million ringgits from 22.0 million ringgits.
Reported net income increased from the prior-year period to 1.9 million ringgits, or 2 sen per share, from 116,010 ringgits, or 0 sen per share.
