SoTHERLY HotelsInc.'s audit committee approved the engagement of Dixon Hughes GoodmanLLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for fiscal yearending Dec. 31.

SoTHERLY said in an April 7 filing that the appointment is subjectto approval by the company's stockholders at the 2016 annual meeting April 28.

As previously reported, the audit committee approved the of Grant Thornton LLP asthe independent registered public accounting firm of SoTHERLY Hotels Inc. and SoTHERLYHotels LP, effective March 31.

SoTHERLY further noted that the decision to dismiss Grant Thorntonwas made as a result of a competitive request for proposal process undertaken bythe audit committee.
