Hitachi Capital to raise ¥45B via bond issue

Japan's Hitachi Capital Corp. is offering unsecured straight bonds in two tranches to raise ¥45 billion.

The ¥30 billion bonds have an annual interest rate of 0.080%, while the ¥15 billion bonds carry an annual interest rate of 0.200%, the company said Nov. 30.

The payment date is Dec. 6.

Nomura Securities Co. Ltd., SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., Tokai Tokyo Securities Co. Ltd. and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co. Ltd. are acting as underwriters for the transaction.

As of Nov. 30, US$1 was equivalent to ¥111.87.
