Report: Ocean West JV pays $70M to purchase Los Angeles property

A joint venture of El Segundo, Calif.-based real estate operating and management company Ocean West Capital Partners LLC and Westbrook Partners purchased the Taft Building at 1680 Vine St. in Los Angeles from DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners for roughly $70 million, the Los Angeles Business Journal reported, citing unnamed sources.

The deal for the 126,000-square-foot building closed June 8.

Ocean West and DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners did not offer a comment, while telephone calls to Westbrook Partners were not immediately answered, the publication added.
