Japan's Juroku Bank gets OK to set up Hanoi office

Japan-based Juroku Bank Ltd. obtained approval from Vietnam's financial authority to open a representative office in Hanoi.

The Japanese lender said in a Feb. 6 statement that it plans to commence operations at the Hanoi office in March. The office will extend support to customers looking to expand in Vietnam.

Juroku Bank will be the first Japanese regional bank to open an office in Hanoi, according to the statement.
