DIRECTV Now to carry CBS networks

AT&T Inc.'s live TV streaming service DIRECTV Now will carry CBS Corp.-owned networks, with much content available on-demand as well.

The networks that form part of the deal include CBS (US), Showtime (US), The CW (US), POP (US) and CBS Sports Network (US). DIRECTV Now will carry live streaming of CBS-owned local TV networks in many of the largest U.S. markets at launch, with affiliates of CBS and The CW to participate in the future as well.

DIRECTV Now subscribers will be able to get Showtime as an add-on, premium subscription service. At launch, users will have access to the Showtime East feed and on-demand programming including original series like "Homeland," "Billions," "Twin Peaks, "Ray Donovan" and "Shameless."

DIRECTV Now subscribers have access to more than 120 channels currently.
