The merger of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based wealth manager Patton Albertson Miller Group LLC with Atlanta-based Anthony Smith Advisors Inc. took effect April 1.

While details of the deal were not disclosed, the acquisition increases Patton Albertson & Miller’s total assets under management to more than $700 million, the company said May 6.
