Malaysia'sAstro Malaysia HoldingsBhd. tied up with telecom operator Globe Telecom to launch its over-the-topservice Tribe in Philippines,Variety reported April 28.

Tribe recently launched in Indonesia providingboth live and on-demand content, from Korean TV series to live sportsbroadcasts.

Astro is also planning to offer Tribe through mobile or homebroadband plan packages and through Google Inc.'s Chromecast.

Google is a unit of Alphabet Inc.
