FIG Partners adds 2 i-bankers covering mid-Atlantic depositories

Former Ambassador Financial Group Inc. investment bankers Dave Danielson and John Putman have joined FIG Partners LLC, an Atlanta-based investment bank that focuses on community banks.

The two are joining as principals and will help with coverage of banks in the mid-Atlantic region, the company told S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Some of their recent M&A assignments include advising Mullens, W.Va.-based Peoples Bankshares Inc. on its July-announced $25.4 million pending sale to Moorefield, W.Va.-based Summit Financial Group Inc. and advising Harrisburg, Pa.-based Riverview Financial Corp. on its $49.2 million acquisition of Clearfield, Pa.-based CBT Financial Corp.

Danielson had been executive director and head of investment banking at Ambassador, and Putman was a managing director at Ambassador. The two also worked together at Danielson Associates LLC, which became part of Ambassador in 2011. Matthew Veneri, FIG Partners' co-head of investment banking, also previously worked at Danielson Associates.
