Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. has established an interim leadership team after Kevin Tsujihara resigned as chairman and CEO, Variety reported March 19, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
The new leadership team will include Warner Bros. CFO Kim Williams, Warner Bros. Motion Pictures Group Chairman Toby Emmerich and Warner Bros. Television Group President and Chief Content Officer Peter Roth, according to the report.
AT&T Inc.'s WarnerMedia is currently investigating a relationship Tsujihara had with actress Charlotte Kirk and whether he improperly used his position to advance Kirk's career while they engaged in a sexual relationship.
The interim team of executives will be responsible for day-to-day operations until the company appoints a replacement for Tsujihara. A potential list of candidates reportedly includes 20th Century Fox Film Chairman Stacey Snider and former Walt Disney Co. COO Tom Staggs.
